An organic urban one day make over!
I designed this log furniture to give the an organic feel to the modern urban back yard makeover in the heart of Harlem. Cement covering of on the picnic table top does the same.

I designed this fabric for a living room curtain and was surprised how much the leaves looked like animal bones.
Secret Roof Garden in Greenwich Village
This brownstone rooftop was lined edge to edge with zinc and cement/resin planters to match the newly laid interlocking slate tile floor. The planting was kept simple with a repetition of rudbeckia and clump birch trees.
Sheep's Meadow ABOVE Central Park
Staining the trellis and containers to blend seemlessly with the building wall allows the magnificient Central Park view from this terrace to be the focus. But sometimes I wonder if the sheep longs for the meadow below .....
Tiles for a green roof
I love the rust of old vintage furniture, the drama of miscanthus grass, the yellow green of the yellow groove bamboo,the new green of budding birch trees and African milkweed on a ceramic tile.

Before it was my office, this midtown space was a furrier...complete with refrigerated fur vault!
The column was not movable so we highlighted it with a great fuchsia, wrapped it with a 'Earth' countertop from Corian, but my favorite part of this design was the range hood we made into a shelves!

We created a slivered oasis in this deco office building, two blocks form Madison Square Gardens. The teak flooring, the Maple trees and the take furniture become a respite in an overcrowded city...even if we did have to scrunch it all together.
