In order to make a garden fit on a small office terrace sometimes we have to go custom. We created a green wall in zinc planters with a line of birch and junipers. Low maintenance and beautiful.

Overlooking Central Park

The rain only enhances the views Central Park from Theis penthouse terrace. As does the wisteria, scabiosa, sweet potato vine and arched cedar trellis I designed to frame the view. I think the sheep is longing for it's meadow though.

A Terrace View from Above

We created a slivered oasis in this deco office building, two blocks form Madison Square Gardens. The teak flooring, the Maple trees and the take furniture become a respite in an overcrowded city...even if we did have to scrunch it all together.

The wall mounted marble fountain on this Central Park penthouse terrace is dripping with wisteria, scabiosa, sweet potato vine.

William Wegman's Rooftop Garden

I designed William Wegman's rooftop garden as much for the dogs as the family. The containers were made of copper so when the dogs peed on them they turned that beautiful patina blue...and looked even better!
